The Omphalion (Ceremony Area) patterned stone on the floor and calligraphy plates written by the famous calligrapher Kazasker Mustafa İzzet Efendi were my inspirations.

The circle symbolizes the universe. Everything in the universe revolves around each other, the intersecting paths lead us towards the truth throughout our lives while we face the difficulties. The work symbolizes eternity.

The light of the field provides a balance in itself.  The colors follow each other in a certain repetition and harmonize. 

I thought that using it on the carpet would represent the 'ground' and the 'sky' as a whole.
